Very rare lovely white French majolica oyster plate from "MYOSOTIS" (Forget Me Nots) pattern collection made by famous Sarreguemines pottery in Lorraine area of France. Iconic design featuring six shell shape wells with handprinted forget me nots in the centre and on the outer edge of the plate.
1800s, France. Diameter 25.5cm.
Repurposed as a Seder Plate for Passover and beyond. Crudités, canapés, petit four... the options are endless. A very useful serving dish in any Balaboosta’s home!
