Antique Seder Plate XXXII

Hand-painted French faïence oyster plate with six wells and a charming Breton villager in the center. The blue scalloped border and floral transfers are pure Quimper poetry - typical of the Belle-Époque era.

1910s, France. Diameter 23cm. 

Repurposed as a Seder Plate for Passover and beyond. Crudités, canapés, petit four... the options are endless. A very useful serving dish in any Balaboosta’s home!
